Sisters • Seattle Child Photography

I thoroughly enjoyed my morning with this family! Even though 6 week old Ruby took about two hours to settle, mom didn't get flustered one bit (or at least she didn't show it if she did). Then big sister Ramona and her Grandma arrived for her photo op with baby sister. I usually prefer not to photograph toddlers in a studio setting if I can help it, as they tend to be...well...bored quickly. Understandably, they aren't all that interested in the process. Ramona was the antithesis of the typical toddler, eager to please and unbelievably cooperative. Had it not been past lunchtime, and closing in quickly on nap time, I would have loved to have continued for a while longer :)

Here's a little sneak peek, I'll email as soon as your proofs are ready!

  4. I really like that basket shot--the texture of the basket and the small planks of the floor, and the delicate pattern of the wallpaper contrasting with that gorgeous skin and beautifully curved mouth..mmmmm. I love big sister's eyes. Even in B&W they are stunners. I can just feel your excitement about seeing C!! We leave in 6 days to spend Christmas with our daughter and the grands. Major excitement; especially since R is (knock on wood) well enough to travel. We're taking the train!!
