
Speaking of the kid. Thanks so much to those asking about him. I spoke with him this afternoon and he sounded SO much better than he did even last night. I think it's going to take some time for him to fully recuperate, but it looks like he is on his way!
My little PSA for the year: if you aren't/don't do flu shots. PLEASE consider them this year. The swine flu is so contagious, and while the majority of people who contract it have mild cases, there are those (like Colin) who get hit very hard with it!
I got the flu about 13 years ago, and it developed into bronchitis. I was sick for nearly 2 months! I've gotten a flu shot every year since, and (knock wood) haven't had the flu since.
