This is from the tulip festival back in APRIL! I love how the growers will sometimes randomly place a contrasting tulip color in the rows of another color :)
I love the rebels! I look for those specifically. Sometimes they are the bulbs that escape the harvesting in the fall... I like it better without the texture, but that's just me. (It is HOT out here today--94!!)
Oh wow! that color! And those fringed edges! I do like the texture, it helps tone down some of that luscious red.
