You know "IT" when you see it....

It's hard to describe what the "it" factor is. And I'm certainly no casting director or a college admissions auditioner (or is it auditor?), so my take on "it" may be totally off the mark. However, I got to meet and photograph K this past weekend for his college auditions, and if it was up to me, he'd be a shoe-in. He has got "IT" in a big way!

He is the nicest guy, and has such a great spirit and spunk. He oozes personality and charm, and reminds me of my son in a lot of ways. I haven't heard him sing, or seen him act or dance, but I've been told he is pretty darned amazing! I hope he has great successes doing his college auditions!

Dontcha just want to eat her up?!?

I did not pose her for this next one, but don't you think she looks like she's advertising DOTS candy?

Now it's time for a little PSA. I had a session on Saturday and my camera was working fine. I also shot on Monday and it was fine then as well. Today when I went to use it for this little pumpkin my focus points wouldn't move at all. I have no idea what's going on.

So, the PSA is to have a backup camera if you're doing sessions! I had been debating selling my backup because I haven't used it in 18 months. I am SO glad I didn't! Granted, I can't trigger my lights with it so I had to set up in the garage, and use available light, and shoot at 800ISO, and shoot with a narrower DOF then I would have liked to. But the alternative would have been to not get these shots at all.... and that would have been a shame!

I do wish she had had different shoes on (too cold to go barefoot). Oh well!
