I wanted to use my new lens some more this weekend, but between the torrential snow yesterday and the torrential rain (we're talking probable flooding) today I had to be satisfied with a few shots indoors. And other than trying some landscapes with it (hopefully later this week) I think the jury is in and it is definitely a good lens! Yes, that's me breathing a sigh of relief, I was just a teensy bit nervous that I would get it and not be 100% happy with it.
what a bright punch of color! love the little figures. that would be so much fun to admire while eating dinner.
ReplyDeleteMy FIL collects Dept 56 and the snow village is one of his favorite collections. These are terrific, especially love #1 with the Christmas figures;) Looks like a long love affair with your new lens and I'm thrilled for you!
ReplyDeleteWe have several of the Dept 56 houses in a little nitch at the top of one of our living room walls. These pics make me want to bring them down where I can admire all of the amazing details. But, that won't be happening until all of the little children around here are grown up! :) I'm so excited about your lens!!!
